Sebra Interior started designing children's furniture and accessories in 2004, when Mia Dela, former CEO, was pregnant with her first child. She searched for quality products for the children's room that were aesthetically pleasing and since she could not find what she was looking for, she chose to design the products herself. That was how Sebra began. However, the Sebra story has roots much further back, as the iconic Sebra bed is a relaunch of a Danish design classic, the Juno bed, which was designed in the 1940s.
Most Sebra products are made from natural materials such as wood, wool, kapok and organic cotton and are designed with Scandinavian simplicity in mind. At Sebra, we want to take good care of both people and the environment when we design and produce our products. Many of the products are certified according to recognised environmental standards, or carefully made by hand, which ensures high quality and a completely unique touch. Our wide Sebra product range tells stories from imaginative children's universes such as World of Sebra, and has characters such as Fanto the elephant, Sleepy Croc and Blinky the owl in common. A characteristic of the entire Sebra collection is that all products create the optimal framework for your child's joy, safety, play and learning.
